Be careful with that - you can prevent the computer to access the school network, or you can corrupt the OS. This only works with Mac computers so do not bother trying it on a computer. Restart the computer and hold command S while booting. In order for it to move through the text and then type:

sbin/mount -wu

sbin/SystemStarter OR launchctl load

/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist 

passwd root

Now type the password that you can remember and press Enter and type reboot. It will automatically reboot the system when you get to the login screen as the root user login and password in your computer .
